It appears the OneXConsole app, which comes preinstalled on OneXPlayer devices, is the cause of the issue. Closing the app resolves the problem.

If a username or password contains the "Oo" character sequence (uppercase "O" followed by lowercase "o"), Auto-Type frequently fails to input both characters. In most cases, only the "O" character is entered, while the "o" is omitted.
