Pros: It's simple to use a reasonably inexpensive.
I like the layout, notifications and reporting.
It lets me know both by sound on my PC and an email when a customer has responded to a text I've sent.Cons: There is nothing about TM that I do not like.
I wouldn't use any other platform.Overall: I've used Textmagic for years in my role as a Motor Vehicle Sales Manager and it is simply the best way to contact new and existing customers. So many people will not answer a call if they do not recognise a number but everyone reads a text.

Pros: I like that it allows me to add multiple lists and include existing contacts without having to input the contacts over and over again.
Cons: I would say a good thing to do is give the options to add the contact to different lists without having to go to each one individually.

Pros: Good tool to manage users and see history of our work, integrates easily with Make our integration app.
Cons: We only use it for our internal work and average around 800/texts per month. The costs start to add up because we don't use it enough for an inclusive plan.
Overall: Good, but wish there were a rate for users that are under 1000/texts month. The cost of .049/message starts to add up.

Cons: Unable to send/receive photos. Which in term leads us to using another platform, and communication usually just transfers there.

Pros: It has worked with ease from day 1. No wrestling with crap instructions or poor interface or bombarded with adverts and up sells. I use it twice a month and never had one issue with it. IMO it didn't need the face lift and I still use Classic view.
Cons: Nothing as it does everything I need with ease.
Overall: Great software does what it says on the tin & no more.

Pros: Very intuitive interface for my team to learn.
Simple functionality.
Able to login to subaccounts so that we are all sending SMS from one number.
Chat view is highly useful for ongoing dialogue with customers.Cons: Hard to scale with if you are trying to have only one inbound/outbound number, as there is no ability to assign conversations to different people or assign statuses, like in most contact centre softwares. There is meant to be a feature called Shared Inbox coming out but I'm unable to get my hands on it even when I enquire.
Overall: Overall, highly recommend for small enterprises! Easy to use, reliable, support gets back to you quickly and pricing is competitive. If you are a larger organisation, then this software will be challenging to scale with until they come up with more enterprise-level solutions.

Pros: It's so easy to use for all of the team whether they are office based at a PC or out on appointments using the app. It does exactly what we need it to do - keeps everyone in the loop.
Cons: None that I can think of. We are very happy with Textmagic.

Pros: Textmagic gets us in contact with our clients faster than perhaps email. You can send a group of contacts the same message all at once.
Cons: The cons I recon is the direct debits being taken to top up the account when there is still a balance on the account.

Pros: Very easy to learn and use. New staff picked it up quickly.
Ability to hold conversation or send a no reply SMS. Was good to have both options.Cons: Pricing structure.
We used to be able to send an SMS under our dedicated number or via a shared number. The pricing structure changed and we then had to purchase individual numbers for each account which was no longer cost effective. We have now switched providers.Overall: Initially a very positive experience and would recommend to others. Now that the pricing structure has changed, no longer recommend. We are a not for profit business and unable to keep using this program.

Pros: Personalised name message field works well and get the attention of the recipient. Adding document links is great. I use the scheduling feature extensively for sending timely reminders. It's good to see analytics e.g. how many messages were received, monthly reports etc. Great value for money.
Cons: Short character length before adds as another message. Low cost doesn't create a big issue. Can't find where to change the sender ID when sending messages from the App. Nothing else of note detracts from the program.
Overall: Excellent. Love using the program. Web and App capabilities are good. Helps coordinate training and compliance requirements.

Pros: Overall functionality and design is good and easy to use. We have found it scalable and adaptive to our uses.
Cons: Pricing Pricing Pricing.
Aggressive payment scale often captures payments without consent.
Lack of complaint/STOP review process.
We have lost customers due to erroneous STOP/Cancellation messaging, only to have them come back to resubscribe. We would very much have liked to have had a chance to respond to cancellation requests to ensure that a user understood the process. There is an implication given that we are spamming users and that is neither true or applicable.Overall: Fair/Good.

Pros: Quickly communicate to all staff at the same time.
Keeps a record of what you sent and to whom.
Payment set up so automatically adds credit.
Account information easy to find.
You can attach links to video messages.Cons: Updating distribution lists from an Excel spreadsheet could be better explained but I work around it OK.
Overall: Amazing app. We use it in recruitment (telling candidates to check their email for interview details) as well as communicating with the staff on a regular basis. We have been able to record training notes and send the link to the relevant staff to watch and learn. During Covid it really helped us to keep in touch with our staff (150) who work at 5 different locations giving a consistent message and encouraging feedback.

Cons: None - never had any issues with text magic or their services.

Pros: TextMagic is no frills, that's what I like about it. Pay as you go (with a monthly fee for your line).
Cons: The website can sometimes be confusing. I used to recommend TextMagic to everyone, but feel unsure after they raised their prices. Sure, it is still overall very affordable, but as a fledgling business, every dollar counts for me. One of the reasons I initially chose TextMagic out of all their competitors is that I could receive incoming texts for free - that is no longer the case. Additionally, I can't figure out a way to talk to customer service without having to pay to talk to customer service, that's kind of disappointing.
Overall: Overall I have been happy with TextMagic and at this point switching would be a lot of effort, so I stay.
