    It would be nice if there were some more clarifications of how this is different from the Linux OS USB stick media center OS and apps ... the current web text and images here is a bit sparce.

    Awesome project. Both mediaportal 1.x and 2.x are superb HTC packages. I used the 1.x series for a number of years and have been using the 2.x series for at least 3 months now. Both series have different virtues but now Ive been using the v2.x series Im hooked on the more modern design. Both are highly recommended!

    The decision to be windows 7 only and encourage users to upgrade to windows 7 is just simply put, incredibly dumb. Why even be FOSS if you are not shooting for universal access and cross platform support ? And on top of all of that you are locking the backend into directX10 and .NET3.5 and 4 ? Was mono and moonlight even looked into ? The moonlight mailing list might be gone but updates are still as early as april of this year.
