Email Functionality
Users can create contacts, mailing lists and my groups. Users have the option of either mailing or listing members that they are part of the course. All of this functionality is managed under the Mail Tab and the Contacts top Tab. There are 4 subsequent tabs, My Contacts, My Mailing Lists and My Groups. The Actions button will provide the user with a list of things that can be completed.
Creating Contacts
Select “My Contacts” tab. You can select “Add” which will allow you to add new contacts manually. You can use “Actions” or select the contacts to Mail.
Mailing Course Members
This screen shows how a user can mail or list members of a course.
Creating My Mailing Lists
Select the “Contacts” Tab and the “My Mailing Lists” tab. You can select “Add” to create a mailing list title and description. Once you “save” you will be able to select “Actions” and select “Members.”This will bring you to a page where you can “Add” from your contacts people to the list. You can also get a list of members of your courses through the “My Courses Tab” select “Actions” Tab and select “List Members.” You can subsequently, add course members to your contact listing to add to your mail listing.
