Continuing with our proposal to offer mini-packages as an agile improvement and bug-fixing mechanism, we offer Fix Pack 1 for the 8.9 64-bit release.

This Fix Pack 1 addresses the following issues:

• Under certain circumstances, a file required to upgrade Mozilla Firefox web browser was missing when using the apt-get upgrade command or when using Synaptic.

• It adds patched packages of the CUPS modular printing system to address a security issue.

To install this Fix Pack, you should:

1) Download the file from the link
https://sourceforge.net/projects/escuelaslinux/files/escuelaslinux-8.9-english-64/EscuelasLinux-8.9-64bit-FixPack-1.tar.gz/download

2) Open the File Manager, go to the Downloads folder.

3) Decompress the downloaded file by pressing your right/alternate mouse or trackpad button, and choose "Extract here."

4) Double-click in "FixPack-1" file, which will be inside the EscuelasLinux-8.9-64bit-FixPack-1 folder created when decompressing.
